Or should all the 'do-gooders' leave our festivals alone!!!!
well christmas is the best time of the year and it has always been. christmas is the time when families get togather and celebrate the birth of jesus christ well that is waht i believe in. chistmas is sustainable that is if people want it to be. i say this because theyre a few tips that people cld follow to sustain it.
people should get theis christmas cards from charity stores such as those run by Red Cross and Oxfam Community Aid Abroad. this will mean that the money will go towards helping some some people who can not afford christmas.
Recycle your Christmas cards in your recycling bin at home or even keeeping them in a box for next year .
Use recycled or pre-loved bags, newspaper or fabric to wrap your gifts. Tie your present with a bow instead of sticky tape and use paper that can be recycled.
Reuse Christmas decorations, or involve the kids and make your own. Donate unwanted decorations to re-use organisations like Freecycle or Reverse Garbage.
If you’re hanging lights for the festive season, use energy-efficient LED lighting.
Buy a living Christmas Tree or use a native tree and plant it in the garden or a pot after Christmas. those are some of the tips that cld help people sustain thier christmas. this will help everyone be happy and enjoy christmas every year.

blog prompt 4
so....To what extent do the best selling UK newspapers cover stories related to serious issues? To what extent would you think that it is their role to do so? In your opinion does the tabloid media and 'low budget entertainment' (reality shows, soaps) have too much power and influence in this country?
in my view of this the media hw so much influence in what ever in happening at that particular time. this cloud be a serious issue or juss enterainment. and i also feel that the newspapers cover mostly the stories that get brieng them money, and these cld be stories that attract a variety of age groups. for example stories about footbollers and thier wifes. so i would personaly say to a lower extent the newspapers in UK stories are related to serious issues. however i think this is their duty or role to keep pleople informed of serious issues at all time no matter if the issue do benefit them in amy way. and i also think because they are so many people watching the soaps and reality shows like x factor . this has now more power and influence in this country. we get a high number of viewings of these programmes so the media and mainly the newspapers start focusing on thoses stories and keeping people updated on those stories because they feel that will get loads of papers bought which to a high extent is true.

To what extent do you think that it is your duty as a citizen to be 'informed'? Are you informed? How do you get to be informed about serious issues? To what extent do you think that you should leave the complicated decisions up to others ?
citizen should be informed about anything that can and can not affect thier lifes, critizens should also be aware of wat is happening around them before, when it happens and after . all the informetion should be the truth no exaggaration so that u catch people attetion its understandbly that at times its need facts and prooff should be clear. iam informed , the question in my mind is that should i keep the information is relevent to me, is it gonna make any effect in my life or change my life style in any way. well i would say no.

Al Gore (prompt 2)
wel al gore is a man with money and time on his hand. he may have done this just as an activiety to keep his live going and to raise his popularity. however he seem to know very well wat he was talking about but i didnt not see and evidence or back up references to his theory of climate change.
on the other hand he might have just trying to prove a point to people that if he could have been the present live may have been different. trhe fact that some else won then he is now trying to prove a point to people that his focus was not only to run in the white and economic but the climate change as well.
i found the film well presented and informative but i didnt not see any truth in it. if only he had involved proffessors , scientists and professionals in climate change then it was going be a bit influancial to me. but it could been seen as infuencial to people who know more about climate change because they will be keen to question his film.

Prompt 1
Since I recently started a degree course after 21 years of my life living with my family and being the last born among five children I have moved out and aim now living alone. This is one of my biggest achievements in my life. I have no one telling me what to do not that I do not appreciate what my family has done for me and what impact it had in my live. I am in my plate everyday and for guiding me to study and work hard.
Now that I live alone I my life has changed make my own grocery list put the most important items first and creating a budget for myself that will last me for a month or two. I could wish to go to France and drink wine every day but I don’t have enough to keep that lifestyle for long so it’s unsustainable for me.
I have a car but I have to sell it and buy a smaller one that I came manage I terms of petro. So one of the main things that I will be looking at is how big the fuel tank is. This is because aim in University studding and I can use a big car it will be costing me so much petro and having to stick to my monthly budget that will be a big problem. So having a small care could mean that I can sustain petro that will last me longer
